Change is good

The world is what you perceive it to be. Having learned a lot about personal development and the inner working of the mind, it has a tendency to get stuck in the same thought patterns as a matter of habit. Changing them requires visualization, meditation, and different ways of thinking, and a lot of repetition, because although many people make temporary breakthroughs in their outlook or the way they think, they don’t stick because the subconscious will be attracted to the old ways of thinking, similar to how a river will run along it’s predicted course and digging a new path requires effort. It would be like trying to learn German without ever opening up the book and doing the lessons. Changing in thinking and attitude is no different.
